The VOICE Program

The VOICE Program is a crucial initiative by The Emmanuel Ivorgba Center dedicated to empowering young girls through education, mentorship, and life skills development. Recognizing the unique challenges faced by girls in underserved communities—such as limited access to quality education, early marriage, gender-based violence, and socio-cultural barriers—the program aims to create a safe, supportive environment where girls can reach their full potential and become catalysts for positive change. Its primary goal is to foster confidence, resilience, and leadership among young girls by equipping them with the skills, knowledge, and support needed to overcome societal challenges and pursue their aspirations. The program also promotes gender equality, health awareness, and economic independence. Since its inception in 2014, THE VOICE Program has positively impacted numerous girls by increasing school attendance, reducing dropout rates, and nurturing leadership qualities. Participants have reported higher self-esteem, better health awareness, and greater ambitions for their futures. Additionally, the program helps shift community attitudes toward gender equality, supporting more inclusive development.
