The Emmanuel Ivorgba Center is pleased to announce the addition of Claire Katherine Miller as our new Business Development Intern. Claire is currently pursuing her Master of International Affairs at Indiana University, with a focus on finance and trade. Her diverse academic background and international experience make her a valuable asset to our organization as we continue to expand our community programs and initiatives.


Claire's interests center around development finance, international trade, and the crucial role of infrastructure and private sector investment in fostering economic growth. Her passion for sustainable development aligns perfectly with our mission to promote community empowerment and economic progress. Throughout her academic and professional journey, Claire has demonstrated a strong commitment to impactful research and development initiatives.


Prior to joining us, Claire served as a Research Assistant at the Tobias Center for Innovation in International Development. There, she supported research on a new human well-being index and helped coordinate international workshops and stakeholder engagement efforts. Her experience in facilitating global dialogues and working on innovative development metrics highlights her ability to adapt and thrive in diverse, collaborative environments.


In addition, Claire has worked on projects related to SME development, higher education reform, and global workforce development through organizations across Germany, Myanmar, and the United States. These roles provided her with a broad perspective on international development challenges and solutions, enriching her understanding of economic growth strategies in various contexts.


As our Business Development Intern, Claire will contribute to expanding our outreach, building strategic partnerships, and exploring new opportunities for community engagement and development. Her international experience and academic expertise will help us strengthen our programs and foster sustainable growth.
