The Emmanuel Ivorgba Foundation announces Winners of Agenda 2063:The Africa We Want Campaign

The Emmanuel Ivorgba Foundation, in partnership with the African Youth Union Commission (AYUC) is pleased to announce results of the Agenda 2063: The Africa We Want 2019 Essay Writing Competition for young people studying in Universities across Africa. A total of 79 Entries were received from 15 Countries. After a very thorough assessment of all the entries, by an External Assessor, we are very pleased to announce and congratulate the following Winners

  • Joshua John Inioluwa- (1st Prize Winner)- University of Ibadan, Nigeria

  • Abel Muparadzi- (2nd Prize Winner )- University of Zimbabwe

  • Nwankwo, Gideon Ikemdinachi- (3rd Prize Winner)- University of Nigeria, Nsukka

The Winners will receive $500 (First), $300 (second), $200 (third), respectively, as well as Certificates, Plaques and branded T-Shirts.

The Campaign was from August 31, 2019- December 31, 2019, and welcomed entries from students of African Origin currently studying in African Universities. The Campaign focused on "The Role of Young People towards the actualization of Agenda 2063: The Africa We Want". Agenda 2063: The Africa We Want is Africa's strategic framework that seeks to deliver on its goal for inclusive and sustainable development and is a concrete manifestation of the pan-Africa drive for unity, self-determination, freedom, progress and collective prosperity pursued under Pan-Africanism and African Renaissance. Agenda 2063 clearly demonstrates the commitment of African People to the Pan African Vision of "An integrated, prosperous and peaceful Africa, driven by its own citizens, representing a dynamic force in the international arena".
