The Emmanuel Ivorgba Center is now accepting applications for the 2nd Cohort of The VOICE Program, a vital initiative designed to empower young girls from underserved communities. This program is committed to providing education, mentorship, and life skills development to help girls overcome societal challenges and realize their full potential. Recognizing issues such as limited access to quality education, early marriage, gender-based violence, and socio-cultural barriers, The VOICE Program aims to create a safe, nurturing environment where girls can build confidence, resilience, and leadership skills. By fostering personal growth and social awareness, the program aspires to cultivate a new generation of empowered girls who can become agents of positive change in their communities. Participants will engage in comprehensive activities that include academic support, health education, leadership training, and mentorship from role models. Eligibility requirements for applicants include being a girl aged 18 to 25 years old, residing in underserved communities with limited access to quality education and support services, in Nigeria, Sierra Leone and Ghana. Applicants must demonstrate a strong willingness to participate actively in all program activities and exhibit a commitment to personal development. Priority will be given to girls facing socio-economic challenges, early marriage risks, or gender-based violence. Applicants should provide a personal statement explaining their motivation for joining the program. The VOICE Program is open to girls who are eager to learn, grow, and become change-makers in their communities.
